Alibi is an alternative magazine proposal, developed during the courses of the Accademia del Lusso in Milan during the 2020. The style and topics covered refer to the indie culture of the 90s, to the RayGun magazine by David Carson, with a focus on streetwear trends, on sustainable fashion, musical insights, photography and art. All content, from advertisements to reading articles, is inspired and revisited through illustrations and graphics.

This is the concept that inspiring to create this mgazine;

Because everything that is put down in black and white magically acquires credibility, even when it doesn’t deserve much more. Because printing is an ancient method of communication that has survived over the years, and we like vintage. Because digital is fluid and fast, but also evanescent and impalpable, and we wanted to put a stop to some things. Because the space to express oneself is limited but synthesis is an art in which it is important to try one’s hand. Because if one day aliens or terrorists come and blow up the net, it will still remain a testament to our culture’s legacy that we shouldn’t be too ashamed of. Because an object can be looked at, touched, smelled, tasted, borrowed, given away, stolen, and only some of these things can be done with PDf. Because making a printed magazine is damn more difficult, more expensive, more demanding and requires many more encounters, fights, quarrels and reconciliation. Because it is a choice against the trend and the thing not we could like it. And basically, why not?
