To celebrate the 30th anniversary of the iconic 90s sunglasses, Catfish, the customer suggested a complete redesign of the line: new eyewear models, made with sustainable materials, and a new container with completely redesigned graphics. The new Catfish Anniversary Edition is entirely made of lightweight bio-nylon and features a metal-spray color effect inspired by grafitti, celebrating the brand's roots in skate culture. Each comes rendered in combinations of etiher silver and yellow, silver and green, blue, or matte black. The pack respects the mood by recalling the underground world of the early 90s of the American West Coast: Surf, Skate, graffiti and metropolitan scenarios. From a famous label of the punkrock group FuManchu, which portrays a very young Toni Alva skating on the rail of an empty swimming pool, as was the custom of the time, I took inspiration to create the illustration that you will find on the new pack on the market. The graphics are entirely created digitally, alternating the Adobe Ai and Ps programs.
