High fermented Belgian Dubbel style beer with a reddish coppery color, characterized by notes of chocolate, caraway and dark fruit; the pleasant complexity given by the malt, combined with the alcoholic degree, elicits the right sensation of heat.

Label / Concept

I was commissioned to illustrate this new label for a winter limited edition beer by Birra del Bosco. The company chose a walrus as the character for their new line; it has a funny and characteristic face but we can't say the same about the body (it is not as fun to draw). Therefore, I focused on the face and the glacial landscape behind it, covering the body with a classic ribbon where I wrote the product’s name. The graphic for this line was inspired by the old American beer and whisky labels.
